Las Vegas
Authentic Japanese Dining, Refined in Las Vegas
Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar
Our Story
Authentic Japanese Dining, Refined for Everyday Enjoyment

Sen of Japan is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In December 2005, Chef Hiro Nakano, former head chef at Nobu at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, opened Sen of Japan together with Shinji Shichiri, a former chef at a Japanese restaurant at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino, sharing a vision of making the level of Japanese cuisine found in luxury hotels on the Las Vegas Strip more accessible to the local community in a relaxed setting.
Inspired by the meaning of “Sen” — freshness — we hope to bring out the best in fresh ingredients through the knowledge and skill of our chefs, making authentic Japanese flavors more approachable for everyone.
Today, Chef Hiro continues to lead Sen alongside his daughter, Lena.
In 2026, they brought the spirit of Sen to Japan, opening a new location in Sendai — Hiro’s hometown — where the flavors loved in Las Vegas meet the finest ingredients of Japan, with a focus on local produce and sake unique to Japan.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to Las Vegas — where our journey began — and Sendai — close to our hearts — creating places where people can enjoy great food and meaningful moments.
We look forward to welcoming you and creating memorable moments together at SEN.
